ASK FOR ANGELA

The PSNI have joined together with licensed venues and security staff across Northern Ireland to help keep people safe while enjoying a night out.

The safety initiative ‘Ask for Angela’ is being rolled out to bars, clubs and other licensed businesses across Northern Ireland.  Our Door Supervisors are fully aware of the campaign, as we want to keep you as safe as possible so you can enjoy your social time.

Who Can Ask For Angela?

Anyone who is feeling unsafe, vulnerable or threatened can discreetly seek help by approaching venue staff and asking them for ‘Angela’. This code-phrase will indicate to staff that you require help, and a trained member of staff will then look to support and assist you. This might be through reuniting you with a friend, seeing you to a taxi, or by calling venue security and/or Police.
