The Finance Assistants’ role is to support the Business Director in processing and accurately recording all the finance and payroll transactions of the Business.

Key Responsibilities of Finance Assistant:

* Timely and accurate processing of Client & Supplier Invoices to include reconciliation of invoices, expenditure, statements and the preparation of supplier payment runs

*Daily reconciliation of all bank statements and preparing & updating Client Statement of Accounts;

*Dealing with suppliers regarding queries on accounts and resolving any disputes regarding non payment of invoices

* Issue weekly Debtor Reports and follow ups with Clients and Suppliers

* Preparing and running of payroll as well as dealing with shift queries with Clients to finalise payroll and Client Invoices

* Assisting HR Team with tallying of holidays, sickness, lateness etc

*Reconciliation of all Company expenditure

* Processing Staff expenses and reconciliation of Company Expense cards

*Assisting with preparation of end of year accounts and liaising with Directors and Accountants where required

* General Finance admin ie weekly reporting to Directors if required

The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, the role requirements will be reviewed regularly to ensure that the role is delivering what is required to meet the business needs.

This role would be based from our Admin Office based in Killyleagh, Downpatrick, Co. Down for 5 mornings of the week being Monday to Friday.

If there is an Applicant who would prefer to work in Belfast & Killyleagh (by spreading working hours over 2 locations) this can be considered as the Company can accommodate this for example 2 days in Killyleagh & 3 days in Belfast or visa versa, own transport would be required for this option to be considered.

The Ideal Person:

Essential:

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role

Sound knowledge of Book keeping & Accountancy Softwares

Microsoft Office especially Microsoft excel, word, Sharepoint, teams and outlook

Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work on own initiative and minimal supervision sn priorities tasks efficiently for the business needs.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: From £15,000.00 per year
